It’s that time of the year again! The first snow is falling! Time for the start of the best time of the year, winter. Time to go skiing again. Time to have those epic powderdays again. In short, THE time of the year! Although it is for me :). Is your wintersports heart also beating a little bit faster? Perhaps we can get you a bit more in the mood with some fresh snow shots from Austria!
Mölltaler Glacier – Austria
Fresh snow at the Mölltaler Glacier! The glaciers are par excellence the place at the beginning and end of the season to find some good snow conditions. Thus, the first beautiful winter shots in Austria can often be found at these heights. The Mölltaler glacier is one of the southerly glaciers of Austria (Kärnten).

Stubaier Glacier – Austria
The Stubaier Glacier was last week also blessed with some load of snow. So much snow that it was hard to get through it, see the video here. The Stubaier Glacier is one of Austria’s largest glaciers and lies on only a 45 minute drive from the airport of Innsbruck. Perfect for a weekend break for some snow!

Kitzsteinhorn Glacier – Austria
Also the mountain peaks of the Kitzsteinhorn got their snowy blanket! The Kitzsteinhorn glacier is one of my favorite glaciers in Austria, and one where we often can be found for training at the beginning of the season and the many courses that been given at this glacier.

Also at the Kaunertaler Glacier a breathtaking snow blanket has landed! The kaunertaler glacier lies in Tirol only a hour drive from the airport of Innsbruck. This glacier is one of the yougest glaciers of Austria, opened in the 1980’s. The Kaunertaler Glacier offers a lot of possibilities for amazing freeride days or perfect if you wanna hit the park!
